On October 12, 2026, SMTCL officially released a lightweight CNC training series of equipment designed specifically for vocational skills training scenarios. This series of models optimizes the operation safety protection system while retaining core CNC functions, reducing equipment procurement and operation costs. Currently, it has gradually entered the training classrooms of 37 technical colleges and vocational technical colleges across the country.

It is reported that this training specific CNC equipment has undergone multiple exclusive optimizations for teaching scenarios: it has added a real-time warning function for operational errors, which can stop the machine for protection in the first time when students violate regulations; Equipped with a full process digital teaching system, it synchronously displays processing paths, parameter settings, and finished product effects, significantly reducing the entry learning threshold for CNC operations. At the same time, SMTCL has also developed a supporting theoretical and practical integrated curriculum system to help universities quickly build standardized CNC skill training platforms.

The current shortage of CNC skilled talents in the domestic mechanical manufacturing industry continues to widen. The relevant person in charge of SMTCL stated that they will continue to iterate and train CNC products, collaborate with more vocational colleges to develop customized training courses, and train more than 2000 skilled CNC operation technical talents for the industry every year, providing solid technical talent support for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.
