SMTCL employees honored as National Model Workers in Beijing

Gai Liya, the winner of the National May Day Medal and the general manager of Shenyang Younisi Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. of Shenyang Machinery Co., Ltd., was awarded the honorary title of "National model worker" by the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and attended the conference in Beijing and received commendation.

Being elected as a national model worker, Galia couldn't hide her excitement, which was not only an encouragement and affirmation for her, but also a motivation and guidance. Galia said that being able to listen to General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions on site is the highest reward for the vast number of grassroots workers, and they feel encouraged and warm from the bottom of their hearts. Gailia has been working in the machine tool industry for over 20 years. She led a team to adjust the product structure in a timely manner and developed a new T series machine tool according to market requirements. Within two years, the market share of this type of machine tool increased from around 50 to over 2000 units, with sales revenue exceeding 150 million yuan. In the past decade, Galia has led and participated in four major special projects for CNC machine tools, obtaining 22 leading utility model patents and 3 invention patents, making important contributions to the development of domestic machine tools.
